WHO ARE WE?

OUR MISSION

After seeing ‘Animal’ play drums on the muppet show as a young boy I had pestered my parents about learning the drums. However, they directed me down the slightly less noisy route of classical piano lessons.

In the end this wasn’t such a bad thing, as it has been incredibly helpful for songwriting, another passion of mine.

Eventually I bought an old white Hohner kit with some Tosco cymbals and Vibra hi-hats and started playing drums at the young old age of 21 years! Since then, although it has been challenging trying to make up for lost time, it has been a wonderful journey.

Our main focus is to supply classic high-end used drum kits to our customers. Before we sell them, we will endeavour to make them as close to their original new condition as possible.

A small number of kits will undergo special projects to customise their appearance when it’s felt they could be improved in a unique way.

Sustainability is also very important to us and so where we can make quality repairs without compromising the drum’s performance we will look to have a small number of projects refurbishing old drum kits.

Most of the projects undertaken will take time, so there will be our ‘bread and butter’ sales of smaller hardware items, individual snare drums and cymbals, all of which will be fairly priced.

DrummedUp is not just about drums, it’s about all classic and retro musical items, so you will find some vinyl and cassette sales, other vintage musical instruments and even music media storage for the collector.

I must just add that we sincerely look forward to helping our customers and we will always be 100% honest with you about the items we sell. We will provide a detailed description about any refurbishment work that has been conducted, which will always have been carried out by industry professionals.

If you got this far, thank you for reading. Best wishes, Graham
